Wood watch in ebony Petenes

Petenes is a watch with two hands and a seconds indicator, mounted on a Seiko VD78 quartz caliber. The watch case is made from a single piece of ebony wood over a steel skeleton housing the mechanism. The strap is crafted from wooden slats and is finished with an elegant butterfly clasp with a double push-button buckle. It is named after Los Petenes, a biosphere reserve in Mexico, which includes jungle and marine ecosystems, a place where life is overflowing from all sides, with vast untouched areas of beach and jungle.
